Florence County Waterfalls
Meyers and Bull Falls

Meyers Falls Description: The best view of 7-foot cascading Meyers Falls is from the north.  The geology surrounding the falls is very interesting.

Bull Falls Description: Bull Falls is small (5-feet), and some may not consider it a waterfall, but if you enjoy the sound of rushing water, this is still a good place to visit.  There are some very interesting yellow birch root formations next to the river.

Directions from the north (Meyers): Turn right at the intersection about 1 mile from Hwy 70.  Follow this logging road to a gravel pit.  Park in this area as the rest of the road is not in good condition.  The walk from the gravel pit is about ½ mile to the falls.

Directions from the north (Bull): Turn left at the intersection about 1 mile from Hwy 70.  Follow this logging road 0.9 mile to a small parking area.  There is a short walk down to the falls.

Directions from the south: When coming from the south it is easy to visit both Meyers and Bull Falls.  A good way to do this is to take Patten Lake Rd. to North Shore Rd. to the Goodman Grade.  Follow the blue    waterfall signs.  Just south of the Pine River, you will turn left and drive a little more than 1/2 mile and park near a fork in the road.  It is a short walk to the falls.  To get to Bull Falls, follow this road back out to the Goodman Grade and continue going straight past the Goodman Grade.  The parking lot for Bull Falls is 1/2 mile from the Goodman Grade.  To get back to Hwy 101,  follow this road to Price Lake Road or go back to the Goodman Grade.
